A time-invariant random graph with splitting events

چکیده
We introduce a process where connected rooted multigraph evolves by splitting events on its vertices, occurring randomly in continuous time. When vertex splits, incoming edges are assigned between offspring and Poisson random number of added them. The is parametrised positive real λ which governs the limiting average degree. show that for each value there unique M(λ) invariant under this evolution. As consequence, starting from any finite graph G will almost surely converge distribution to M(λ), does not depend G. limit has expected size. same naturally extends one connectedness necessarily preserved, we give sharp threshold version. This an asynchronous version, more realistic real-world network point view, studied [8, 9].

Cover time of a random graph with given degree sequence
In this paper we establish the cover time of a random graph G(d) chosen uniformly at random from the set of graphs with vertex set [n] and degree sequence d. We show that under certain restrictions on d, the cover time of G(d) is whp asymptotic to d−1 d−2 θ dn log n. Here θ is the average degree and d is the effective minimum degree.
متن کاملTime Splitting for the Liouville Equation in a Random Medium
We consider the Liouville equations with highly heterogeneous Hamiltonians and their numerical solution by a time splitting algorithm. Such equations model the density of particles evolving according to the corresponding Hamiltonian dynamics as well as the propagation of high frequency waves with a wavelength much smaller than the correlation length of the random Hamiltonian. Our main results a...
متن کاملThe splitting design that leads to simple random sampling
Implementing unequal probability sampling, without replacement, is very complex and several methods have been suggested for its performance, including : Midseno design and systematic design. One of the methods that have been introduced by Devil and Tille (1998) is the splitting design that leads to simple random sampling .in this paper by completely explaining the design, with an example, we ha...
متن کاملExponential-Family Random Graph Models with Time Varying Network Parameters
Dynamic networks are a general language for describing time-evolving complex systems, and have long been an interesting research area. It is a fundamental research question to model time varying network parameters. However, due to difficulties in modeling functional network parameters, there is little progress in the current literature to effectively model time varying network parameters. In th...
